No visit to Sri Lanka will be complete without tasting a cup of Ceylon tea. And where better to taste the Ceylon’s finest than at the home of Dilmah. The team of chefs travelled to Peliyagoda where the Dilmah head office and factory premises are located on the banks of the swiftly flowing Kelani River. The tea tasting session at the Dilmah tasting room gave the team a flavour of what’s to come. At the end of the factory visit the team headed down South to a turtle hatchery in Kosgoda where they spent some time learning about conservation of turtles and making friends with these gentle creatures of the sea.
